Term 1 Holiday Programme: Tues 7 April – Friday 17 April
Term 2 Holiday Programme: Monday 6 July – Friday 17 July *Closed Friday 10 July for the Matariki Public Holiday
Term 3 Holiday Programme: Monday 28 September – Friday 9 October
Programmes are open 7am-6pm each week day.
BBs will close for 2026 on Tuesday 22nd December, at 6pm.
BBs will reopen again for 2027 on Tuesday 5th January, at 7am (at selected venues).

We are operating our fun-filled Term 3 2026 Holiday Programme from 7am-6pm, Monday 28 September to Friday 9 October at all holiday programme venues
Our Holiday Programme venues are listed below. We are so excited to be able to offer a holiday programme at Te Rōhutu Whio School and West Melton School and can’t wait to see lots of smiling faces there!

Fun, Friends & Fantastic Memories
School holidays should be packed with fun, creativity and adventure! Developed to keep tamariki engaged, entertained and learning throughout the break, Busy Bumbles Holiday Programmes are jam-packed with exciting, age-appropriate activities. Whether your child loves arts and crafts, outdoor games, science experiments, or themed dress-up days, there’s something for everyone!
Each day is carefully planned well in advance to ensure a variety of enriching experiences that cater to different ages, interests and abilities. We take pride in creating holiday programmes where kids feel happy, safe and eager to return each day. Get ready for a holiday break filled with fun, friends and fantastic memories at Busy Bumbles!
Open to All Primary-School Aged Tamariki!
Looking for a fun and engaging holiday programme for your child? Whether you’re in need of quality, full-day or school-hours care throughout the break – or you simply want to treat your child to a day or two of exciting, supervised activities with their friends – Busy Bumbles is the number one choice for school holiday fun!
ALL primary-aged children are welcome at any Busy Bumbles location – meaning your child doesn’t need to attend school at a specific venue to join. Spaces fill fast, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Early Finish & One-Day Programmes
Busy Bumbles also offers early finish and one-day Holiday Programmes, to cater for families who require care on days within the school terms which are not public holidays, but where school is not open for instruction. Examples of these days include:
Easter Tuesday: The day after Easter Monday, which is not a public holiday but where schools are closed.
Teacher Only Days: These vary from school to school and will be advised in school communications.
Early Finish Programmes: These operate at a number of schools that close at lunchtime on the last day of school, and will be advised in school communications.
