My daughter Micayla has been attending Busy Bumbles since last year. To my family Busy Bumbles has been nothing less than a God send.

Before my daughter started with Rebecca’s team at Busy Bumbles she was unsettled, unhappy and every day was unpredictable. I worried constantly “is my child was happy and well looked after”. To say the least prior to Busy Bumbles it was stressful for both Micayla and I. I have found Busy Bumbles make our lives so much easier. I really cannot sing their praises enough.

I am a working mother of two who has utilised several different child care facilities in both Auckland and Christchurch over the last 15 years. I would say without a word of a lie Busy Bumbles are the best I have been involved with. The whole process with Busy Bumbles was stress free. The enrolment procedure was detailed but also quick and easy. Micayla was made to feel welcome and comfortable. The Busy Bumble ladies were easily accessible to discuss how Micayla was settling in. I have found them are very proactive and always helpful. Most importantly I noticed the difference in Micayla straight away. She loves all of the ladies and she not only loves attending she is excited about going. She is happy and you can see she enjoys being at Busy Bumbles.

I have noticed many differences between Busy Bumbles and other child care providers I have used. Firstly, I have been surprised with the difference in the attitude of the staff. Not to say that other providers were ever less than competent, but I think it more apparent that Rebecca and the other ladies have a genuine love of what they do. This is not just a job to them and this is obvious. They not only provide a safe environment but a happy productive one also. The children are never bored. Every day I arrive and see all of the children, if there be 10 or two, working away at a project or playing a new game, or making something special and each lady is happily assisting in each activity. The ladies make each child feel special. I have to smile when I collect Micayla and she looks up and says “do I have to go now?”

For a working parent who cannot always be there, having someone there for your child who keeps you well informed is priceless. Busy Bumbles is brilliant and I have, and will continue to, recommend them to everyone I know.

As busy parents it’s nice to know that when required, there is a service available in Rolleston such as Busy Bumbles. I can arrange for my child to be cared for knowing that he is in a safe, caring and educational environment. I would like to take the time to thank you and your wonderful team at Lincoln Busy Bumbles for the outstanding After School Care you provide for my 9-year-old daughter, EmmaRose.

I was looking for an interactive, safe and caring environment for EmmaRose after school a few days a week. Two new opportunities had recently come to Lincoln and I decided to meet with Rebecca and her team from Busy Bumbles as I liked what they had to offer the children. I could not have been happier and more impressed with what I saw. Rebecca provides a colourful, cheerful and exciting atmosphere and EmmaRose wanted to start that very day!!

Rebecca goes out of her way to provide a stimulating and fun environment, constantly looking for ideas from both children and staff as to what sort of things our children enjoy doing. If they do not have an activity that the children have expressed their interests in, Rebecca and her team do their very best to source these things and introduce them to their programme. They also cater for children and parents wishing to get homework sorted before that busy time of the evening between cooking and bed-time. As a single mum, I find this most helpful and my girl loves doing her homework in this environment.

EmmaRose absolutely thrives on attending Busy Bumbles. She has become more confident and independent in her personality, and enjoys being involved and helping out with the younger children. I think she may make a wonderful Child Care Teacher herself!!

I have no hesitation in recommending Rebecca and her team to any working parent looking for that perfect environment for their precious children.

My daughter has been in Busy Bumbles for two school terms now and a holiday programme. It has been the best decision that I could have ever made for her after school and holiday care.

I had a choice of two afterschool programmes, I did some research, spoke with Rebecca whom I had an instant like to. Her vibrant personality and energy and her passion for Busy Bumbles was just great, and that was over the phone. When I met Rebecca in person, I never had a doubt re the quality of care my daughter would receive. Really gave me a nice warm fuzzy feel. I think I was more excited about the prospect of Busy Bumbles than my daughter was at first.

The programme they offer for the children is amazing! Such a variety of things to do and the interaction with the staff is so personal and one on one. They really care about the children at the centre and spend great quality time with them playing and teaching them new things. I don’t know where Rebecca comes up with all the fantastic ideas on what to do each week for the kids as they never seem to do anything twice. All the children seem to get involved and love it!

They offer reward incentives for the children and encourage nice manners and respect to the other children in the programme, all of which we expect in our own homes and this also I find just reiterates to the children of what is acceptable and not acceptable behavior.

The staff are fantastic and friendly and always open to suggestions, happy to answer any questions you may have. Really make you feel like you are part of the Busy Bumbles Family. It’s quite special really.

When I collect my daughter at the end of the day, I am greeted with a huge smile and you hear the laughter and happy noises from the playground or classroom and see the smiles on all the other children’s faces. It’s just awesome and the slight feeling of guilt from being a working Mum soon disappears because I know my daughter is so happy at Busy Bumbles, and is well looked after and loves it!

Keep up the awesome work Busy Bumbles – you are the best!

Jessica has been attending Busy Bumbles since the beginning of term 2, 2010. We have been very happy with the after school care at Busy Bumbles and Jessica particularly looks forward to the classes. I think Busy Bumbles is the best place for my girl Antoinette to be after her school time.

Antoinette started with Busy bumbles since it was opened and she feels that it is her second home, the teachers are really wonderful.

Antoinette always is very excited to go to busy bumbles after 3pm. The relationship of Busy Bumbles staff and Antoinette is really great, she loves the teachers and friends who attend the after school care with her, it seems that they have a friendly family environment which helps me to be less stressed while I am working. The relationship with us as a parents is really good too, and I am always received in friendly and professional manner by the staff.

Busy Bumbles take care of Antoinette’s spelling and maths tuition. This is really good help for her as she likes the dynamic how the teachers practice for her to review this topics. Antoinette has learned different things such as knitting, craft (variety of things) which helps her to learn and have fun at the same time.

Once again thanks for the good quality of service with the children while the parents are working!

As a parent I am impressed with the quality of the service that Busy Bumble provides. The convenience of having this facility within our school means a safe transition between OSCAR care and children’s classroom. The ratio of teachers to children is exceptional with a wonderful variety of activities available for the children throughout the session. Children are encouraged to take part in active play outside, quiet inside games, craft and art. It is peace of mind knowing that my children are in good hands.

Using a programme like Busy Bumbles was a totally new experience for our family. My children were a little dubious about starting but after just one afternoon they were into it.
