Busy Bumbles is proud to offer exceptional Before and After School Care and Holiday Programmes that kids and parents love. We work hard to keep our pricing as affordable as possible, while maintaining the highest standards of service and care. Busy Bumbles is proud to support larger families by offering a 10% discount, which will be applied to the care fees for the second child and any subsequent children in a single family unit.

Prepay for Holiday Programmes
To help families manage payments and secure their bookings in advance, we offer the option to add credit to your account at any time.
Accumulated credit can be achieved by paying more than your weekly invoice amount or making additional payments, noted as “HP Prepayment” in the reference, if you are not a term time customer.
Accumulated credit will remain in your account and will automatically be applied to upcoming holiday programme bookings. This ensures your child’s space is confirmed, and payments are always made in advance, as required.
OSCAR subsidies - How to Apply
- Check what you might get via the MSD website.
- We suggest applying 3 – 4 weeks before you need your subsidy to start.
- WINZ can grant you the financial assistance you’re entitled to from the date you first contact them, or the date your childcare started, whichever is later, if you complete your application within 20 working days of that date.
- You and your partner (if you have one) need to complete the Childcare Assistance Application Form.
- The Busy Bumbles Accounts Manager needs to complete the supervisor’s section of this form. Please email to accounts@busybumbles.co.nz
- Once completed, you’ll need to email the application form, and any other documents WINZ have asked you to get to centralised_childcare_reviews@msd.govt.co.nz or we can send this to WINZ on your behalf. WINZ will contact you directly if further information is required.
- Further Out of School Care and Recreation (OSCAR) Subsidy information can be found here.
- An OSCAR Declaration must be completed every term to confirm your requirements.
- A Change of Circumstances must be completed for an increase in hours, or for a change in your personal circumstances.

FAQs
Our before school sessions generally operate between 7:00am/7:30am – 8:30am. After school sessions begin at the end of the school day (generally 3:00pm) through to 4:00pm, 5:00pm or 6:00pm.
Holiday Programme sessions run from 7:00am – 6pm or 8:30am – 3pm. Please check your local venue for available options.
