Established in 2010, Busy Bumbles is proud to be the South Island’s leading provider of inclusive and engaging Before & After School Care and Holiday Programmes! Our innovative and multi award-winning offering is celebrated as a ‘model’ programme by Ministry of Social Development, and our culture of kindness, giving back to our communities and FUN ensures children and families alike love our service.
Our Culture of Kindness
Children emulate the behaviours they see in grown-ups – which is why fostering a culture of care and kindness is such a huge part of the Busy Bumbles philosophy! We genuinely believe in the power of giving back, and we’re proud to pay-it-forward to our communities, schools and families through random acts of kindness; from providing free use of our bouncy castle for school events, to offering raffle baskets and prizes for school fundraising initiatives. Giving back not only feels good, but makes our communities better places to live and play. That’s why, every day, Busy Bumbles’ staff embrace our spirit of giving, and work hard to create places of security, happiness and trust.
Free Homework Sessions
We support education by offering FREE supervised homework sessions during our after school care service. Not only does this support children on their individual learning journeys – it also frees up important, quality family time at home at the end of the day. Any comments or instructions for completing your child’s homework are always gratefully accepted and we will work with you to ensure you are totally happy with the amount and standard of work that we are assisting them with.
